TRN
Tax Registration Number in Ireland

Tax Registration

Tax Registration Number

A Tax Registration Number (TRN) is issued by Revenue when you register for tax as either a sole trader, trust, partnership or company.

You must use your TRN when trading, filing your tax returns as a sole trader, trust, partnership or company, and doing payments.

Registration Requirement

Tax Registration is absolutely and legally required. It is mandatory for all Irish companies to register for Corporation Tax within one month of trading. The process typically takes up to 3 weeks but may take longer depending on the volume of registrations at the time. For this reason, this is an official service that LSC & Partners does comply with local Revenue, soon after the company has been registered.
